Article Submission
The WCA editors welcome submissions from any student doing research in one of the four disciplines of anthropology. This includes those conducting applied research. Articles can be theory related or experiment based, but must be original works done by the author submitting the paper. We do request that review articles not be submitted to this journal.
General Article Format Authors should follow the SAA formatting guidelines. The online style guide is available at: http://www.saa.org/Publications/StyleGuide/styFrame.html.
Deadines WCA has rolling deadlines. Although the journal will normally be published in the spring, you are welcome to submit an article for consideration at any time. The deadline for the Spring 2011 volume (to come out January 2011) is to be announced.
Submitting an Article Please send the article in a .doc or .docx format to Mafe Boza Cuadros at mbozacua@uwyo.edu. Illustrations, graphs, and tables should be sent in the same file as the written work and can be ‘tacked on’ to the paper after the references cited section. If you are unable to send the submission as one file, you can send the illustrations and graphics separately.
You should title the filename you are sending as FIRST_LASTNAME.doc. For example, Margaret_Morris.doc. If you are sending more than one file, please send them with descriptions: Margaret_Morris_Text.doc and Margaret_Morris_Graphics.doc.
