March 8, 2010 -- Wyoming Native Jalan Crossland will perform a free concert Wednesday, March 10, at 8 p.m. in the Wyoming Union ballroom.

Raised in a small Wyoming town, Crossland for years has played music that reminds him of home. He has toured both solo and with his band for the last 10 years, building a fan base wherever he plays.

He has released three CDS: "Poorboy Shanty," "Moonshiner," and "Trailer Park Fire & Other Tragedies."

The Student Activities Council sponsors Wednesday's concert. For more information on how to get involved with SAC, join the meetings on Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the Campus Activities office, lower level of the Wyoming Unions. Individuals with disabilities needing accommodations can call 766-6340.
